Was a member of mad mechanics, even before it was mad mechanics! I have an F40 that I went through 3 years of agony trying to import into Mexico, when I moved to Mazatlan decades ago. Even had to buy a legal Mexican Fiero ultimately, to keep the car legal here when the rules for imported cars changed. (Don’t ask). I am still enjoying the car, and it is constantly being worked on and driven here. Have just finished painting and detailing the underside; which is an annual process here due to the salt in our air. There is no rust on the 1986 chassis at all! Glad to see our passion still has followers! The T shirt in Canada says “ he who dies with the most toys wins” Here it says “he who dies with the most toys, still dies” Cheers, Steve
